The Priory Hospital Aberdare

Last year, we completed works in The Priory, a residential and nursing home in Wales - who provide specialist care for residents with a range of physical and mental requirements. What makes this project unique, is that the customer was not only focused on the practicality and safety of the products we were installing, but also wanted this to be a design lead project.

We installed Altro Wall Designs 'summer weave', a high end sheet which mimics linen. Not only did this give an interesting twist to wall cladding, but the blue grey colour also creates a calming atmosphere throughout the rooms. The 10 bedroom unit was also installed with Altro Wood effect flooring, whilst for the 13 bathrooms the client opted for a R12 Altro Aquarius, with overlap detail and hidden transition trim to our welded Altro Whiterock walls.

In order to ensure the upmost care for the residents, we finished off the project with an anti-pick mastic. Ensuring that none of our products could be removed or damaged, and therefore ensuring that they could not cause any harm.
